“Winter Is Coming for you, Kenny”- Jon Moxley Attacks Kenny Omega on AEW Dynamite

Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega will face off in the biggest match on AEW Dynamite since the show’s conception. The AEW World Championship match is scheduled for the 2nd of December, which is labeled as the ‘Winter is Coming’ episode.

Jon Moxley attacks Kenny Omega on AEW Dynamite

On Dynamite, Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley had a contract signing to make their title match official. These contract signings usually go haywire after the contracts are signed, but this one began with chaos.

Moxley attacked Kenny while he made his elaborate entrance with the ‘sweeper girls’ and Justin Roberts’ over-the-top introduction. He appeared like a scary apparition behind Kenny’s silhouette and mauled him.

He tossed Omega into the ring and hit him with the Paradigm Shift on top of the AEW World Title.

“I don’t know who you hired to take me out last week but they did a piss-poor job,” said Moxley.

Last week, Jon Moxley was taken out ahead of a segment with Kenny. Moxley confronted Eddie Kingston backstage, pondering whether Eddie was the one to attack him. Later on, Moxley figured out Kenny was the attacker and took his revenge.

Moxley looked supremely confident ahead of the biggest obstacle in his path.

“Win, lose or draw, Winter Is Coming for you, Kenny,” He continued, “steady your aim and take you shot because you only get one.”

Moxley vs Omega scheduled for ‘Winter is Coming’

Jon Moxley has faced every challenge and has beaten every opponent thrown at him. He beat Mr. Brodie Lee at Double or Nothing, Brian Cage at Fight for the Fallen, MJF at All Out and Lance Archer at Dynamite’s Anniversary show.

He even defended the title against the likes of Darby Allin and Eddie Kingston in some of the most brutal matches in modern wrestling.

Kenny Omega has been enjoying a good singles run after losing the tag titles and quitting his tag team with Hangman Page. He beat Hangman Page at Full Gear in a thrilling encounter. In doing so, he became the number one contender for the AEW World Championship.

Omega and Moxley have only faced each other once before. At Full Gear 2019, Omega and Moxley went to war in a brutal unsanctioned match. Moxley planted Omega’s head on the wooden boards below the ring canvas to pick up one of the biggest wins in his career.
