This hunter was no match for an angry deer.
Czech police are hoping to find a hunter’s gun after the mammal snatched it away with its antlers.
The deer was scared off by a dog when it encountered a group of hunters, and then used his antlers to seize the 0.22 Hornet rifle before running away, Reuters reported Tuesday.
The gun had no ammunition.
Cops said another hunter reported seeing the deer miles away with the rifle still hanging around its antlers.
“The hunters searched the forest but did not find the gun,” the authorities said. “He had no other choice than to report the incident to the police.”
Police urged anyone who finds the weapon to contact the authorities.
