What should the Nets do with Kyrie Irving?

Kyrie Irving, the Nets’ perplexing, brilliant, frustrating, eye-opening star, could opt out of the final year of his current contract this summer and become free agent. And while The Post’s Brian Lewis has reported that Irving’s partnership with Kevin Durant will result in an extension to stay in Brooklyn, nothing is certain until a deal is signed. If you were in general manager Sean Marks’ shoes, what would you do? Sign Irving long-term? Find a place to trade him and hope you can smooth things over with KD? Try to negotiate a short-term contract and hope that sends a message to Irving?
