What channel is 49ers vs. Cardinals on today? Time, TV schedule for NFL Week 9 game

Following a gutting loss against the Green Bay Packers, the Arizona Cardinals will have to bounce back against a divisional rival Sunday in the San Francisco 49ers. Kyler Murray didn’t practice at all last week leading up to this game, as he continues to nurse an ankle injury. The San Francisco 49ers will be riding with Jimmy Garoppolo, who looked the best he has all season against the Bears last week in a 33-22 win.

The NFC West is proving to be a house of horrors, as the 49ers look to get back in the thick of things against a pair of 7-1 teams. At 3-4, they’ve been largely disappointing this season, partially due to middling quarterback play. As Trey Lance waits in the wings, at times it’s felt like a matter of when he’ll get regular snaps than if, but the 49ers haven’t shown a willingness to move on from Garoppolo yet.

The Cardinals’ remaining schedule takes a bit of weight off of this game, but nevertheless they have to keep pace with a Los Angeles Rams team that is not letting its foot off the gas at all. With the Rams hosting the Tennessee Titans in primetime this week, it could be a great opportunity to try to put a bit of space between them, as the Cardinals already hold half of the tiebreaker with a 17-point win earlier this season.

Murray is looking to bolster his MVP campaign, but divisional matchups — especially in the NFC West — can get messy. The 49ers, for the time being, are trying to play spoiler. Sunday presents a great opportunity for them to do so.

Here’s what you need to know to watch Cardinals vs. 49ers this Sunday, including kickoff time, TV channels, and the full Week 9 NFL schedule.
