Veteran quarterback Tom Brady stood at the top during the matchup held between Los Angeles Chargers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday- showcasing the rookie how he managed to get those 6 Super Bowl rings.
Chargers’ quarterback Justin Herbert, on Friday, told the media that he was a big fan of Tom Brady since his childhood days and Sunday’s game will be a really cool opportunity for him.
The Chargers took over most of the Sunday’s first half, leading with 24-7. A pick-6 to help them get the edge did not help certainly but Brady isn’t new to playing catch-up.
Late during the 2nd quarter with only 28 seconds remaining for the goal, Brady got along with Mike Evans for cutting the lead to 24-14. Buccaneers came back for the 2nd half where Brady threw one deep 28-yard touchdown pass towards O J Howard.
Later, Herbert and Brady were going from one touchdown to another; however, the veteran took away the lead by throwing his 5th touchdown, which not only gave the Buccaneers the 35-31 victory but also helped Brady become the oldest NFL player to have thrown for 5 touchdowns in one single game at the age of 43
