Thursday Night Football DraftKings Picks: NFL DFS lineup advice for Week 12 Steelers-Ravens Showdown tournaments

Steelers vs. Ravens got even more interesting than just a Thursrday night AFC North rivalry game when Mark Ingram and JK Dobbins were placed on the COVID-19/reserve list. All of a sudden, Gus Edwards and Justice Hill became intriguing DFS plays on Thanksgiving in Week 12, and both made it in our DraftKings Showdown lineup.

The biggest call we’ve made is fading Ben Roethlisberger. That gives us some protection if the Baltimore pass defense remembers that it’s supposed to be good. But we have three of Big Ben’s favorite pass-catchers in our squad, so we should hit on most of the production he does have. As usual, deciding to captain Lamar Jackson or not is the most important decision of a Ravens game, but against Pittsburgh, it’s safer not to do so.

DraftKings Showdown Picks: Steelers vs. Ravens

Captain (1.5x price, 1.5x points): RB Gus Edwards, Ravens ($12,300)

Unlucky for those hoping to use Edwards as a super cheap captain, DK didn’t release its pricing until after JK Dobbins and Mark Ingram went on the COVID-19/reserve list. But Edwards still is a decent price in a run-heavy offense that’s all of a sudden without its committee of backs to use. He’ll be the best bet to score out of Baltimore’s backfield around the goal line, and paying down just a bit here allows us to get good Pittsburgh pass-catchers in our lineup.

FANDUEL THANKSGIVING DFS:
Texans-Lions | Washington-Cowboys | Ravens-Steelers | Full slate

FLEX: QB Lamar Jackson, Ravens ($11,200)

The Steelers have pretty much been Jackson’s kryptonite, but he still possesses one of the highest floors in fantasy thanks to his rushing ability. Jackson scored more than 18 DK points the first time these teams met this season, and that really is more like his floor than his ceiling, which is massive even against a good defense.

DRAFTKINGS THANKSGIVING DFS:
Texans-Lions | Washington-Cowboys | Full slate

FLEX: WR Diontae Johnson, Steelers ($10,000)

Johnson is coming off a career-day with 12 catches, and his price reflects that. But since we’re fading Roethlisberger, it makes sense to load up on Pittsburgh receivers as best we can. Johnson’s dynamic ability on crossing routes makes him a great usage of our salary.

WEEK 12 DFS CASH LINEUPS: DraftKings | FanDuel

FLEX: WR Chase Claypool, Steelers ($9,600)

Claypool’s averaged a touchdown per game in his first 10 NFL contests, and he’s different than any other wideout the Steelers have thanks to his size. That makes him a threat down near the red zone with a chance to find paydirt against Baltimore.

WEEK 12 DFS TOURNAMENT LINEUPS: DraftKings | FanDuel

FLEX: TE Eric Ebron, Steelers ($5,600)

Ebron is a fantasy enigma, and you’re probably counting on a touchdown here for this to really pay off. But Baltimore will likely key on the Steelers’ wide receivers, which could leave Ebron more room to operate against a young Baltimore linebacking corps.

FLEX: RB Justice Hill, Ravens ($200)

If you want even one more Pittsburgh pass-catcher, James Washington fits here. But we’re grabbing Hill as the direct backup to Edwards since we know how much the Ravens like to use multiple backs. Hill is even worth captain consideration at minimum price for those of you feeling bold.
