NFL Week 6 coverage map: TV schedule for CBS, Fox regional broadcasts

[ad_1]

We’re entering the second-to-last of the NFL’s bye weeks in Week 13, so soon, all 32 NFL teams will be playing weekly once again. That said, the Sunday slate has already ballooned back up to its relatively normal size for the rest of the season.

There will be 11 games taking place during the early and late-afternoon slate in Week 13. That represents the most teams we’ll see on Sunday until the final week of the season when every team plays on Sunday. Until then, viewers will have to make do with an 11-game slate.

This week’s slate features some excellent-looking matchups. CBS will air the doubleheader this week, meaning that they will broadcast six of the 11 games on Sunday. Their main draw seems likely to be the games featuring AFC North teams. The Bengals are playing the Chargers in the early game while the Ravens and Steelers during the 4:25 p.m. ET game.

All four of the AFC North teams are within striking distance of the Ravens, but the Bengals have the best chance to unseat them. They are also playing a Chargers team that can match them blow-for-blow in what could be a shootout.

As for Fox’s coverage, they are broadcasting a single game. Three will be early in the day while two will occur in the later afternoon. The Buccaneers-Falcons, Cardinals-Bears and Washington-Raiders games are the biggest draws, and Fox’s well-distributed map demonstrates that one game isn’t particularly favored over any of the others.

Below are the full NFL coverage maps for Week 13, plus a list of major TV markets and the CBS and Fox games that will be presented in each on Sunday.

TV schedule for NFL Week 13 games

Below are the Sunday afternoon games that will be broadcast regionally. “Sunday Night Football” will feature the Broncos and Chiefs in a game that will decide whether the Chiefs stay in sole possession of first place in the AFC West.

“Monday Night Football” will feature a battle for the AFC East, as the Patriots and Bills square off in a key battle. The Patriots (8-4) currently hold a half-game advantage over the Bills in the standings, so the winner on Monday will take over the No. 1 seed, at least temporarily. The two teams are set to battle later in the season as well, so that may be the most critical game of the bunch.
