The interview with a draft expert was completed, the analyses done. The only “i” to dot was the Jets would fall to 1-6, as the Giants sit at 2-5 before their Monday night game.
So it wasn’t just the Bengals whom White blindsided.
Have the Jets stumbled upon their Tom Brady? Probably not, even if Mike White’s high school coach sees similarities. But suddenly there is something to look forward to this week — and quickly, with the Jets heading to Indianapolis for a game Thursday — before we turn our eyes to next offseason.
