Man, teenage girls shot inside car in NYC, police say

A man and his two teenage passengers were shot in their car in East New York, Brooklyn, early Sunday and then crashed into several vehicles while attempting to flee, police said.

The bullets flew at Dumont Avenue and Drew Street around 3:30 a.m., striking a 35-year-old man multiple times to the body and a 16-year-old girl once in the back of the head, cops said. Both of them were taken to hospitals in critical condition.

A 17-year-old girl who was in the car suffered a graze wound to the face, but was expected to survive, police said.

On Sunday January 23rd 2022 at approx. 3:25AM three people were shot in a vehicle on Linden Blvd and Drew Street. The injured driver tried to flee and crashed into multiple parked car at the corner of Drew Street and Dumont Ave.
No arrests were made after the shooting.

Photos from the scene show a black Subaru with bullet holes in its driver’s side window and door and a smashed rear end. 

There were no arrests and cops said they didn’t have information about the motive.
