A 27-year-old man with a rap sheet was busted this week for allegedly gunning down a 17-year-old boy in the Bronx earlier this year, authorities said Thursday.
Jaykwan Ford was picked up in Pennsylvania by the NYPD’s Violent Felony Squad, and transported back to the Bronx Wednesday to face charges for the May 6 murder of Tony Boyd, cops said.
Ford allegedly opened fire around 11:30 p.m. on Washington Avenue near East 170th Street in Claremont Village, aiming for the entrance to Gouverneur Playground, video released at the time shows.

Boyd, who was shot in the chest and back, was taken to Bronx Lebanon Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A 24-year-old woman shot in the same incident walked into Lincoln Medical Center with a gunshot wound to her arm, cops said. She was listed in stable condition.
Cops described the incident as gang-related, but had no information Thursday morning on what gangs were allegedly involved.

Ford was charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon in connection to the deadly shooting, cops said.
He has seven prior arrests, including busts for assault, robbery, harassment and petit larceny, according to police.
The slaying came amid a scourge of deadly violence targeting Big Apple youth this year.
