Kurt Angle Sparks Return Rumors After Posting Impressive Transformation Photo

Kurt Angle is one of the most prolific sports entertainers of all time. The Olympic Gold Medalist isn’t wrestling these days and isn’t signed to any major promotion, after WWE furloughed him from his role as Producer in April this year.

Kurt Angle wrestled his last match against the then ‘Constable’ Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35. The match wasn’t something the fans or Angle liked or wanted. Ever since, fans have hoped for Angle to get a better send-off match.

Given his injuries, the toll on his body over the years, and shape at the time of his retirement, it seemed logical for Angle to hang his boots.

Kurt Angle shows off ring-ready physical transformation

Kurt Angle recently posted a very impressive picture from his workout on Instagram. Angle also mentions in the caption how he feels good training again, comparing it to the prime of his career.

Looking at Angle’s physique, one can definitely say he wouldn’t flinch in executing consecutive German Suplexes and Angle Slams.

The last time we saw Angle, he looked his age. This Angle in the picture surely doesn’t. His transformation has also led fans to wonder if he is getting ready for an in-ring return.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated earlier this year, Kurt Angle revealed WWE had plans to have him as Riddle’s Manager at the time of the ‘King of Bros’ debut on the main roster, which he declined. Opening up more, he also spoke about his potential return to the ring.

Angle said, “I’m almost 100% I won’t wrestle again, but if I did, that’s the direction I would have went.” He continued, “I imagine WWE was going to go with me managing Riddle and then, eventually, probably a match between the two of us.”

But the Olympic Gold Medalist didn’t rule out a return either, as he said,

Right now, I can’t. Could my mind be changed? Yes, for two reasons. I’m working on my business, and I’ve been doing a lot of rehab on my body, trying to get myself back to where I’m able to live a healthy lifestyle. I’d been so banged up—my neck, my back, and my neck—but I’m making improvements.

“If I get to the point where I feel I can do it, then I’ll probably do it. But right now, I have to focus on my body,” continued Angle.

This Interview is six months old and the rehab on the body is definitely showing in his latest Instagram post. Whatever the Olympic Gold Medalist has planned, we wouldn’t mind seeing him toss men across the ring with some vicious German and Belly to Back Suplexes.
