Georgia pilot bought Epstein jet weeks before his arrest

A Georgia pilot bought one of Jeffrey Epstein’s private jets just weeks before the pedophile’s arrest — and is suing for his money back, saying the “stigma” has made the plane worthless.

In a federal lawsuit filed in Atlanta last week, Thomas Huff said he bought the now-tainted Gulfstream jet and a company that runs it, JEGE LLC, in June 2019, “just prior to Jeffrey E. Epstein’s arrest” that July 6.

But during negotiations, Epstein hid that he “was engaged in a massive criminal enterprise involving rape, sex trafficking, sexual abuse, physical assault, blackmail, intimidation, fraud, and deceit,” the lawsuit said.

At the time, Epstein’s firm “had assets in excess” of $3.5 million, the lawsuit claimed, without detailing the exact amount he paid.

“After Mr. Epstein’s arrest and his criminal activity victimizing children became a matter of public knowledge, the assets of the company immediately depreciated in an amount in excess of” $1.5 million, the lawsuit alleged.

“JEGE’s customers, some of which are very well known to the public, are tracked, surveilled, and reported” for using the jet that most assumed was still tied to Epstein’s company, the lawsuit said.

After Epstein’s arrest, Huff immediately contacted the pedophile’s attorney and “gave him notice of rescission of the purchase agreement. This was rejected by Jeffrey E. Epstein,” the lawsuit said.

In fact, the legal team effectively told the buyer that he “should have known he was this terrible person,” Huff’s attorney, Jeff Banks, told the Daily Beast.

“They had somebody contact me and say that if I’d done research, I could have figured out what a sleaze he was,” Banks told the outlet.

Huff’s lawsuit is against Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn, the executors of the estate of the perverted moneyman who hanged himself in his Manhattan lockup a month after his arrest.

Epstein “knew or should have known that his criminal acts which resulted in the victimization and sexual exploitation against reportedly over 100 children would, if and when discovered, have a dramatic impact on the assets and value of JEGE,” the lawsuit claims.

“Mr. Epstein committed fraud by failing to disclose a material fact that could not have been known through any amount of due diligence by Thomas Huff,” the documents alleged.

Epstein had owned at least three private jets, including his Boeing 727 “Lolita Express,” which he infamously used to fly girls and his rich and powerful friends around the world.

An attorney for Kahn and Indyke could not be reached for comment, the Daily Beast said.
