Former Title Challenger Names the Only Boxer Who Can Beat Daniel Dubois

Daniel Dubois has quickly escalated as one of the brightest prospects in the heavyweight division. The British boxer is just 23-years of age and has raked in 15 straight victories inside the squared circle. The former British amateur champion is a knockout artist with a credible 92.9% knockout-win percentage.

Ahead of the hugely anticipated bout against former Olympic silver medallist Joe Joyce, here’s what former title challenger Kevin Mitchell had to say about Daniel Dubois.

“I just think he’s got what it takes to become the next big thing. I think at the minute, the only person that can beat him is Tyson Fury. And you look at Tyson Fury in two-four years, he won’t be here anymore. That gives Daniel Dubois a massive, I think it opens up for Daniel Dubois. He can take over.”

Daniel Dubois is currently undefeated. Many believe that he has what it takes to hand Joyce the first loss of his professional career. ‘Juggernaut’ is undefeated and will look to derail Dubois’s hype as he steps inside the boxing ring this weekend.

However, according to former title challenger Kevin Mitchell, there’s only one fighter who can beat Daniel Dubois. The answer is the undefeated British fighter, ‘The Gypsy King’, Tyson Fury.

Can Tyson Fury beat Daniel Dubois?

“Dynamite” is still young. However, he has shown that punching prowess and boxing skills that are worthy of comparing him to the current champions. Needless to say, he is the favorite going in the bout this weekend and will look to prove to the world that he is here to take over.

Should he get a title opportunity with a win over Joyce, there’s a reason to believe Dubois and Fury will collide with the WBC champion retaining as per Mitchell.

Tyson Fury is regarded as one of the greatest boxers of all time. He is quick and has a great technique to triumph over the best that the heavyweight division has to offer. Tyson is the only fighter to beat Deontay Wilder and has a chin made of granite to survive even the fiercest strikers in the heavyweight division.

Only time will tell if Dubois will scale the heights to come face to face with Tyson Fury. However, if he does, it will go down as one of the greatest bouts in the history of boxing.

What do you make of Mitchell’s comments?
