The list of positions that Joe Douglas must fix this offseason is again a long one. Everyone is talking about the Jets drafting a cornerback, edge rusher or wide receiver early.

Those positions make sense as top priorities.

But isn’t it about time Douglas and the Jets address tight end? It has been a wasteland for the Jets for the last decade. Dustin Keller was the last truly impactful tight end the Jets had and his last year with the team was 2012. If you want to find the last tight end who made a Pro Bowl for the Jets, you have to go back to Mickey Shuler in 1988.
