Dean & DeLuca founder lists NYC spread for $27,500 a month

Giorgio DeLuca, co-founder of Dean & DeLuca, has put his luxury Hudson Square penthouse on the market for $27,500 a month.

The 44-year-old gourmet grocery chain was acquired by fortysomething Thai property tycoon Sorapoj Techakraisri for $140 million in 2014.

The stunning industrial chic home, profiled in multiple shelter magazines, is at 40 Renwick St.

It’s the first time it’s been on the market since 1994.

The 3,900-square-foot home is currently set up as a two-bedroom, 1½-bath home — but the massive loft can also hold more bedrooms.

The pièce de résistance is a 2,100-square-foot private wrap terrace, with a dining table, an outdoor shower, barbecue and herb garden.

The ground floor boasts a stunning chef’s kitchen with a 1,000-bottle wine cellar as well as 11-foot ceilings, a woodburning fireplace and floor-to-ceiling glass windows.
