Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has suffered an hamstring injury.
Jones went down grabbing his hamstring following a short scramble in the third quarter of New York’s matchup with the Bengals. He made his way over to the blue medical tent and would return for the start of the Giants’ next offensive possession.
NFC LEAST: Who will join this list of worst NFL division winners?
After giving it a go, Colt McCoy would replace Jones, likely ending Jones’ day. The Giants would list Jones as questionable to return with a hamstring injury.

While not known as a running QB, Jones’ legs are a big part of his game, so it would make sense to see the Giants sit him down for the rest of the game.
A potential long-term injury for Jones would be bad news for the Giants, who are currently locked in an NFC East division battle at 3-7. While there’s no immediate news on the severity of Jones’ injury, his attempted return may indicate that it isn’t overly severe and that Giants are being cautious.
The Giants were favored vs. the Bengals and were winning 13-10 at the time of Jones’ injury.
