An ex-aide who accused former Gov. Andrew Cuomo of groping her says CNN should fire Chris Cuomo for enabling his brother’s harassing behavior.

“Yes, I think he should lose his job,” Karen Hinton said of Chris Cuomo during an interview with The Post at the launch party for her book, “Penis Politics.”

“He enabled someone to harm and injure women who were working for him in the executive office. His office. That’s against the law.”

Chris Cuomo has been suspended indefinitely — but Hinton said that’s not enough.

The move came after state Attorney General Letitia James released a trove of subpoenaed records that include texts showing the “Cuomo Prime Time” star agreed to contact news industry “sources” for advance information on damaging reports regarding his older brother.

James’ devastating sexual harassment investigative report forced Andrew Cuomo’s resignation in August after concluding he mistreated 11 women and harassed several government staffers — including a state trooper on his security detail.

Two other Andrew Cuomo accusers — former executive staffers Charlotte Bennett and Lindsey Boylan — attended Hinton’s book party near City Hall /Wednesday night. The trio even posed for pictures.

Hinton worked with Andrew Cuomo when he was the federal HUD secretary under President Bill Clinton in the late 1990s. More recently, she served as Mayor Bill de Blasio’s press secretary.

Some of de Blasio advisers attended Hinton’s book bash — including Phil Walzak and Jon Paul Lupo.

Hinton’s husband, Howard Glaser, who served as Cuomo’ s state operations director during his first term as governor and worked for him at HUD, joined her.

Hinton recently published ‘Penis Politics: A Memoir of Women, Men and Power.’

She said Andew Cuomo was a “great example” of a male politician who advocated for and passed laws to advance womens’ rights “but behind closed doors did just the opposite.”

Hinton said Chris Cuomo should have helped his older brother “learn” how to treat women “with respect and professionalism” in the workplace.

“Chris Cuomo should have helped him through that. But instead he enabled [Andrew],” she said.

During her speech, Hinton took a jab at Andrew Cuomo for his $5.1 million “Leadership” book deal about the coronavirus pandemic. He’s been accused of illegally using government staffers and other resources to prepare the memoir. Cuomo claimed staffers “volunteered” to help on the book on personal time.

“I did work very hard on this book” she said, adding, “And reflecting on that, I’m realizing I did it without any state resources.”

The zinger drew laughter and applause.

Women’s right activists, including politicians, showed up to express support.

State Sen. Jessica Ramos (D-Queens) agreed with Hinton that CNN should can Chris Cuomo, not just suspend him.

“White men get more due process than anyone in this country,” Ramos said. “Chris Cuomo should be fired.”

Hinton previously accused an “aroused’’ Cuomo of inappropriately hugging her in a hotel room in California 21 years ago. Cuomo denied it ever happened and his spokesman described her as an “antagonist” with an ax to grind.

As the Post previously reported, Hinton’s book alleges that Andrew Cuomo spewed jokes about AIDS, lurid sex, then- President Bill Clinton and intern Monica Lewsinsky and even the seamy shenanigans of his then-in-laws the Kennedys.
