Oops, she did it again.
Weeks after recreating a look from early aughts film “13 Going on 30,” Ariana Grande seemingly channeled an iconic style from another era.
For nineties theme week on “The Voice,” the 28-year-old superstar sported a strapless top and white pants that appeared to recreate an outfit Britney Spears wore on her “Baby One More Time” tour in 1999.
While her leather shirt was a lighter shade of pink than Spears’ shiny style, both stars teamed the teeny top with white pants featuring pink swatches on the knees.
In true Grande style, she paired the pink midriff-baring look with her signature high ponytail.
It’s not the first time the “Voice” coach has referenced the pop icon, as she sang part of “Oops!…I Did It Again” last month while appearing alongside Kelly Clarkson on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” And during her 2016 “Saturday Night Live” appearance she did another vocal impression of the pop star.
The “Positions” singer has been known to recreate pop culture moments, having included several – including another “13 Going on 30” reference – in her viral 2018 “Thank U, Next” music video.
While Spears has yet to publicly comment on Grande’s latest ‘90s-inspired look, “13 Going on 30” star Jennifer Garner responded to Grande’s recreation of her character Jenna Rink in the much-discussed music video.
“Every now and then something comes along and just brightens your day. @arianagrande you’re adorable. Thank you, pretty girl,” the 49-year-old actress wrote on Instagram at the time alongside a clip from the video.
